FADEBRIDGE / PRIVACY

Your audio.
On your Mac.

Privacy policy · Effective October 24, 2026

This policy describes the current Mac App Store version of FadeBridge and its product and support pages. FadeBridge is provided by Amperative LLC. Questions can be sent to sami.elhini@amperative.co.

Audio stays on your Mac.

FadeBridge uses macOS system-audio capture permission to monitor and route the audio applications you select. Audio samples and level measurements are processed locally in memory to detect silence, control fades, and match loudness. The App Store app does not save audio recordings or send audio to Amperative or a third party. It does not use your microphone.

Local information.

FadeBridge reads running audio-process information, including app names and identifiers, to display available sources and maintain your selections. It stores a short list of recently selected source-app identifiers in local macOS preferences. These preferences are not uploaded to Amperative. Audio-processing buffers are temporary and are released when routing stops or the app closes.

The app may write technical diagnostics, such as audio-format information and error messages, to your Mac’s system logs. It does not automatically send those logs to Amperative. macOS manages their retention. Any sharing of system diagnostics with Apple is governed by your Apple settings and Apple’s policies.

Subscriptions and Apple payments.

FadeBridge uses Apple’s StoreKit service to retrieve subscription offers, make purchases, restore purchases, and verify subscription access. This communicates with Apple. The app uses Apple-verified transaction and renewal information, such as the product identifier, expiration date, and billing grace-period status, on your Mac to determine whether a new audio session may start. It does not send that information to an Amperative licensing server.

Apple handles your Apple Account, payment information, billing, and subscription management under Apple’s privacy policy. FadeBridge does not receive your payment-card details or Apple Account password. Amperative may receive sales, proceeds, and subscription reports from Apple through App Store Connect; these are not a separate app analytics or audio-upload service. Subscription expiration does not stop an already-running audio session.

No app tracking.

The current app has no Amperative account requirement, advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, or automatic telemetry service. Amperative does not collect audio, source-app history, or usage analytics from the app, and does not sell or share app data for advertising or cross-app tracking.

Website and support.

Opening our website sends a normal web request to our hosting provider, Cloudflare. Technical request information, such as your IP address, requested page, and browser information, may be processed to deliver and secure the site. These pages do not contain advertising or analytics trackers added by Amperative. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

If you email us, we receive your email address and anything you choose to include. We use that information to respond, troubleshoot, and maintain support records, not for advertising. We retain correspondence while needed to handle the request and meet legitimate recordkeeping or legal obligations. You can ask us to delete correspondence, subject to those obligations.

GitHub bug reports are public. Your GitHub profile and report content are handled by GitHub and visible to others. Do not include private information, licensed media, or unredacted logs. Use email for private questions. See GitHub’s privacy statement.

Your controls.

You can stop processing with FadeBridge’s Stop control or quit the app. You can revoke audio-capture permission in macOS System Settings under Privacy & Security → Screen & System Audio Recording; the exact label depends on your macOS version. FadeBridge needs that permission for audio routing. Local preferences can be removed from the app’s macOS container; contact us if you need help.

To request access, correction, or deletion of information you have provided to Amperative, or to exercise privacy rights available in your location, email sami.elhini@amperative.co. We do not have a server-side copy of audio or local app preferences to retrieve or delete. Public GitHub content is also subject to GitHub’s deletion and retention controls.

Other services and changes.

Your audio apps, media services, Apple, and GitHub have their own privacy practices. This policy does not replace theirs. If FadeBridge’s data handling changes, we will update this page and its effective date, and provide any notice or consent required before new collection begins.
